The Supreme Body of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun reports that the "Help Your Brother - Lebanon" fundraiser has collected 25 million AMD ($51,350) in the span of ten days and that an airplane loaded with food packages will leave Armenia today for Lebanon to be distributed for 1,000 Armenian families there.

In a statement today, the ARF Supreme Council reports its members Ishkhan Saghatelyan and Ashot Simonyan will be on the plane and will meet with representatives of the Lebanese-Armenian community.

The Council reports that 5 million drams worth of assistance will be allocated to Armenians in Syria.
