Police report that they have arrested a man for throwing a hand grenade into the entrance of the Alen-Elen disco club in Yerevan at around 1:30am today.

Vardan Demirtchyan was taken into custody outside the Ojakh restaurant in the village of Argevand.

Seven people had to be hospitalized for respiratory burns.

Police are conducting an investigation as to why the man threw the hand grenade into the club located on Abovyan Street.
