100 Children in Tegh to Attend Rebuilt Kindergarten

The kindergarten in Tegh, a community of 2,500 in Armenia’s southern Syunik Province, damaged in 1992 during the Karabakh War, has been rebuilt and will open its doors to 100 children this month.

The reconstruction was part of the Social Investments and Local Development Program of the Territorial Development Fund of Armenia.

World Bank loans and Armenian government co-financing covered 90% of the 153.4-million-dram price tag.

The Knights of Vartan and the Tegh municipality contributed the other 10%.

Tegh is the last settlement on the Goris-Stepanakert Highway before entering Artsakh.
