Armenian Apostolic Church Catholicos Garegin II and Armenian National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan met today on the grounds of the Etchmiadzin Mother See to review ongoing public discussions related to church-state and church-educational system matters.  

One such mater is in what format should the history of the Armenian Church be taught in public schools, as a separate subject or as a part of general Armenian history.

The two also discussed the matter of modifying educational standards in the country.
