Former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Russian Ambassador to Arenia Sergey Kopirkin met in Yerevan yesterday and discussed the fighting along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border.
The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) reports that the meeting was requested by the Russian Embassy.
According to the HHK, Sargsyan stressed that there is no military solution to the Karabakh conflict and that Azerbaijani aggression, supported by Turkey, against Artsakh and Armenia must stop.
"The right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination is an integral, cornerstone component of a lasting and just peace," the HHK press release reads.
