The Artsakh Defense Army (ADA) reports that today, around noon local time, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched a large-scale offensive in the southern direction of the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan, throwing reserve forces, a large amount of military equipment, including tanks and artillery into the battle.

The operation comes hours after the Turkish Foreign Minister's visit to Baku, hours after the announcement of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.

The ADA says it has taken all necessary measures to repel the attack.

The entire responsibility for the aftermath lies with the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan, the ADA states.
