Before today’s European Parliament (CoE), during which the situation in Nagorno Karabakh was discussed, members of the Armenian community in Brussels gathered in the square opposite and drew attention to the unfolding situation along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border.

The demonstrators told Hetq that during the rally they called for peace and an end to violence and terrorism.

Some of the demonstrators are now staging a sit-in strike in front of the Council of Europe.

Lilit Babayan, one of those present, told Hetq that they were trying to disperse the rally with water cannons.
