The Artsakh Foreign Ministry issued the following statement on Azerbaijan's violation of the ceasefire, referring to the attempted diversion of a special unit towards Hadrut.

We strongly condemn Azerbaijan's treacherous violation of the agreements reached through the mediation of the Russian Federation on the exchange of casualties and prisoners of war for humanitarian purposes.

Particularly outrageous is the fact that a trio of international terrorists from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkey launched an attack immediately after the Artsakh Republic Defense Army announced a ceasefire within the framework of a humanitarian ceasefire. By its actions, Azerbaijan once again proved that it is an exiled state that does not fulfill its obligations even for 5 minutes.

Today's treacherous attack convincingly proves that Azerbaijan views the talks solely as a cover to prepare for military action. In the current situation, the international community can stop the exiled state only in one way, with the recognition of the Artsakh Republic, which will provide the necessary legal mechanisms to guarantee peace and security both for our republic and the whole region.
