Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan today appealed for Armenian unity in the face of continuing Azerbaijani aggression.

Harutyunyan called on former Artsakh residents now living abroad to return and join the fight and described the war as an attempt by Azerbaijan to not only decimate the Armenian population of Artsakh but to target Armenia proper as well in the future.

Recalling that Armenian forces faced difficult days in the liberation war of the 1990s, Harutyunyan said he is confident that Armenians will again surmount the challenges Artsakh faces today.
