Artsakh Children Welcomed at Presidential Residence in Yerevan
Children from Artsakh, whose parents have brought them to Armenia to flee the fighting, were hosted at the Presidential Residence in Yerevan today and were entertained by a performance of Bremen Musicians staged by actors of the Hagop Baronian Theater.
Hakob Ghazanchyan, President of the Union of Theatrical Players of Armenia and Chief Director of the Hagop Baronian Musical Comedy Theater, considers this initiative important from the point of view of psychological support for children in difficult conditions.
"These days, it is particularly important for the children of Artsakh to be psychologically supported, because children are the most vulnerable part of society. They will remember the nightmare they lived through. I think we should do our best for these children," Ghazanchyan said, adding that such events will be ongoing and that the doors of all Armenian theaters will be open to the children of Artsakh.
