Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan published the following message today on his Facebook page.

"Dear compatriots!

I just returned from the front line. After meeting with our boys, I decided to address our people with a special video message from the trenches.

I present it below, believing that all of you will heed my call like one person and that with the power of God and the individual participation of each of us we will be able to come out of this ordeal with honor. ”

In the video, Harutyunyan says he’s somewhere near Aghdam, a few hundred meters from the frontline. He calls on Armenians to believe in an Armenian victory and to pray for it and the soldiers who have died in the fighting.

Harutyunyan also calls on Armenians to perform their patriotic duty, including serving on the frontline if possible.
