Armenian Health Minister Asks Indian Ambassador for Humanitarian Aid

Armenian Minister Arsen Torosyan today, in Yerevan, met with Indian Ambassador to Armenia Kishan Dan Dewal and thanked him for India’s continued support to Armenia’s healthcare system.

Torosyan asked the Ambassador to consider the possibility of India providing humanitarian assistance to Armenia.

Torosyan noted that the Armenian healthcare sector is ready to withstand a second wave of the coronavirus, but due to the war unleashed by Azerbaijan, it’s become necessary to equip the medical centers of Armenia with new devices and medicine.

Ambassador Kishan Dan Dewal promised that he would consider all possible options for assistance after consulting with the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ambassador thanked Torosyan for taking care of the Indian students during Covid-19.
