The Artsakh Defense Army (ADA) reports that this afternoon, in the direction of Karvatchar, it shelled Azerbaijani forces who tried to remove the bodies of Azerbaijani soldiers killed yesterday in a gorge.

The ADA says Azerbaijani forces used smoke mortars to conceal the operation.

The ADA says it also used mortar fire to repulse a group of Azerbaijani combatants that tried to advance in the same area.

Later in the afternoon, the ADA prevented an Azerbaijani military attempt to amass forces in the Karvatchar area, neutralizing four enemy soldiers who were trying to take refuge.
