Armenian National Congress Accuses Pashinyan Government of Committing "Unforgivable Crime"
The Armenian National Congress (ANC) has accused the Pashinyan government of “committing an unforgivable crime against the whole Armenian people.”
Referring to a statement issued by the ruling My Step (Im Kayl) parliamentary faction that it is not going to participate in the convening of a special sitting at the request of the parliamentary opposition to discuss the November 9 statement, signed by the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan to end the war in Karabakh and the ensuing political situation in Armenia, the ANC writes:
"The statement of the My Step faction of the RA National Assembly shows that the current government has not yet understood what a terrible problem it has caused for Artsakh and Armenia by committing an unforgivable crime against the whole Armenian people.
“At the same time, the statement makes it obvious that the government categorically rejects the constitutional way of overcoming the internal political crisis in Armenia and, in fact, has adopted a position of deepening the confrontation. This is nothing but a gross violation of the principles he professes, democracy and parliamentarism.”
