Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan told a group of government and military officials at a Stepanakert roundtable consultation today that internally displaced citizens and others who lost their homes in the war will be resettled in Stepanakert and other areas now controlled by Armenian forces.

“They will first stay in hotels and state-rented apartments and later allocated permanent housing with state funds,” Harutyunyan said.

"I once again stressed that urgent measures must be taken to restore normal living conditions. The Martakert-Karvatchar-Vardenis highway will still be under the control of Armenian forces. Public fears that people will remain besieged are baseless,” he said.
