Turkish Presidential Spokesperson Blames NATO, EU for Karabakh Ceasefire Inaction

İbrahim Kalın, spokesperson for the President of Turkey, in an interview yesterday with Turkish NTV, said that NATO The European Union (EU) did not make any concrete proposals to end hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, while Russia and Turkey managed to reach a ceasefire in the region.

Kalın also talked about the continuation of negotiations with Russia about the establishment and operation of a monitoring center for supervising the ceasefire in Nagorno Karabakh.

"The first stage of the dialogue is over, in which the representatives of the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs and special services take part. Moscow is informed about Ankara's position. During the dialogue, the location of the center, the main direction of work, as well as the responsibility of the parties will be decided in the coming days. Our military will in any case work in the monitoring center on Karabakh," Kalın said.
