Defense Ministers of Artsakh, Armenia Meet in Stepanakert
Armenia Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan and Artsakh Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mikael Arzumanyan met in Stepanakert today and reviewed the situation along the Artsakh-Azerbaijani Line of Contact.
Arzumanyan, who also commands the Artsakh Defense Army, said that steps are being taken to reorganize the troops under his command․
Harutyunyan visited the Artsakh State Emergency Service, talked to the personnel involved in the search for the bodies of war victims, and noted the need to increase the number of search groups.
Harutyunyan and Arzumanyan, together with Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan and the head of Artsakh’s National Security Service participated in the meeting with the relatives of missing Armenian servicemen.
Vagharshak Harutyunyan noted that the interdepartmental commission set up in Armenia is holding round-the-clock talks with Azerbaijani and Russian officials and representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross to increase the intensity of the search and expand the search areas.
Harutyunyan is on a working visit to Artsakh.
