Pashinyan Blames Predecessors for Karabakh Diplomatic Failures
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in a live Facebook post today, said that his government hadn’t failed diplomatically regarding the Karabakh issue, but rather failed to overcome the burden of diplomatic failures of the past 20-25 years.
Pashinyan and his government have been criticized for a series of diplomatic blunders both prior to and during the recent war in Artsakh. Here, he’s placing the bulk of the blame on his predecessors.
“We failed in our work to avoid the consequences of your failures. This is the truth,” Pashinyan said.
