Yerevan police today detained several Anti-Pashinyan protesters today who had blocked downtown streets in the Armenian capital.

Gegham Manukyan, a director of news and political programming at the ARF-affiliated Yerkir Media TV, was one of those detained.

On November 23, Manukyan went on hunger strike and demanded Pashinyan’s resignation as the country’s prime minister.

A coalition of political parties had given Pashinyan until today to resign, threatening civil disobedience if he didn’t.
