Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Virabyan announced today that he will resign to assume the post of chief producer at Public Television of Armenia.

Virabyan, in a Facebook post, says he accepted the new job because he believes it’s a good opportunity to make important qualitative changes at the television station.
