
Armenia: 6,000 Trees Planted to Commemorate Fallen Homeland Defenders
Last month, Armenia’s Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) planted trees in memory of those who fought and died who fought in the defense of the country.
The FPWC planted more than 6,000 trees in the country’s Vayots Dzor and Ararat provinces. Conifers, pears and oaks were planted in the areas of Urtsadzor, Hovazadzor, Mozrov.
The FPWC plans to plant 20,000 trees in 2021. Hawthorn and apple will be added to the already planted species.
