Head of Armenia's National Security Party Arrested for Inciting Violence
Garnik Isagulyan, who heads Armenia’s National Security political party, was arrested today on charges of inciting violence.
Armenia’s Investigative Committee (IC) says that Isagulyan publicly called for violence against Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan in a YouTube video entitled: “The person who shoots Nikol should be awarded the title of National Hero or one million dollars”.
The IC says that during a press conference shown in the video, Isagulyan charged Pashinyan with political and other crimes and called on people to punish him.
