Karen Arustamyan Elected Member of Armenia's Audit Chamber
At a closed-door session of the Armenian National Assembly today MPs, by a vote of 103-1, elected Karen Arustamyan a member of the country’s Audit Chamber.
Arustamyan was nominated to the post by the ruling My Step faction.
The Audit Chamber (formerly the Control Chamber) is the supreme audit institution of Armenia and the independent state body performing external state audit over budget funds and the utilization of state and municipal property.
