Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu says he intends to meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, in Sochi to discuss preparations for a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Turkey that may take place next year.

"The dialogue between our presidents, the existing mutual trust serves not only bilateral but also regional relations. Today we will discuss the meeting of the Presidents of our countries, which will probably take place next year in Turkey," Çavuşoğlu said during today’s meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group of the Russian and Turkish Foreign Ministries.
