Republican Party of Armenia Rules Out Talks with Pashinyan
The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) has ruled out any political talks with the government of Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan.
The HHK, Armenia’s former ruling party, made the decision at yesterday’s sitting of the party’s executive board chaired by Serzh Sargsyan.
The HHK, in a statement released today, said the party’s executive board discussed the post-war situation in the context of new challenges threatening Armenia and Artsakh.
The party reaffirmed its demand that Pashinyan’s government must step down.
Earlier this month, the HHK and several other political parties formed the National Movement for the Salvation of the Homeland (NMSH) and selected former Prime Minister Vazgen Manukyan to head a transitional government.
