
Armenian Foreign Minister, Artsakh President Discuss Humanitarian Situation
Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan and Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan today, in Stepanakert, discussed implementation of the November 9 Karabakh ceasefire, focusing on the repatriation of POWs and civilian hostages.
The two, according to a statement released by Ayvazyan’s office, also discussed regional security issues and the return of displaced Artsakh residents.
They stressed the need to address the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh and to restore normal socio-economic conditions.
Both stressed the priority of the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, which should be based on the recognition of the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination and security.
