The Artsakh Ministry of Health reports that a coronavirus “hot spot” has been discovered in the Noragyugh and Hovsepyan communities in the Askeran region.

143 of the 261 people recently tested were found to have the virus.

The ministry has ordered a partial quarantine in the two communities. Schools and other public areas are being disinfected.

To date, 2,174 people in Artsakh have tested positive for the coronavirus and 31 have died.
