Armenian Prime Minister Calls for “Restart” of Public Administration

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, arguing that the post-war period in Armenia calls for a restart of the public administration system, today publicly introduced his new Chief of Staff Arsen Torosyan.

Torosyan had been serving as the country’s Minister of Health.

Pashinyan, in a statement released by his office, says that a new benchmark of quality must be introduced in all facets of public administration and that government services to citizens must be upgraded.

The statement provides no details regarding the steps to be taken to achieve such a restart or what Torosyan plans to do.
