Armenian Human Rights Defender Says Azerbaijani Troops/Flags in Syunik Must Go
Armenian Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan issued a statement today calling for the removal of Azerbaijani armed servicemen and Azerbaijani flags from all Armenian-populated communities and roads connecting those communities in the country’s southern Syunik Province.
Tatoyan says the presence of Azerbaijani armed servicemen is illegal and contradicts the foundations of the human rights system in international law.
