Armenian, French Foreign Ministers Discuss Karabakh Humanitarian Issue
Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan, and his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian today, by phone, discussed regional stability and security issues, as well as steps taken to address the humanitarian situation in Karabakh.
Ayvazyan, according to a statement released by his office, said that Azerbaijani attempts to hinder the repatriation of Armenian POWs and hostages is unacceptable, thanking Jean-Yves Le Drian for continuing to focus on the matter.
The foreign ministers stressed the need to address the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, and exchanged views on the forthcoming schedule of the Co-Chairs' activities.
