Armenia’s Human Rights Defender’s (HRD) Office has published a special report on the provision of benefits to servicemen and their families.

Among the benefits offered are:

• the right to retain employment,
• Mandatory procedure for granting unpaid leave,
• Privilege for choosing the time of annual leave,
• the right of priority to be included in state employment programs, etc.

 The HRD’s Office says the special report becomes more important, especially in the post-war period, when guaranteeing, strengthening and protecting the rights of servicemen and their families is paramount.
