The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), on March 9, has notified the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe about ongoing Azerbaijani civil rights violations.

The ECHR, according to its representative in Armenia, says that Baku, as obligated, isn’t forthcoming regarding information on Armenian POWs and MIAs.

It should be noted that the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights regarding the application of an interim measure against Azerbaijan regarding prisoners of war are still in force. By means of interim measures, the European Court ordered Azerbaijan to provide information on the conditions of detention, health status, as well as the measures taken to return them.
