Prosperous Armenia Party Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan posted the following on his Facebook page today about snap parliamentary elections in the country.

"A few days ago, I announced that in order to get our homeland out of the current difficult situation, a new government must be formed in the country as soon as possible. The only legitimate way to do this is through snap parliamentary elections. The people must decide by their vote who tthey will entrust the next government to.

"Extraordinary parliamentary elections will be held in Armenia on June 20.

"Peace to the Armenian people. God bless us all "
