Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan today, in Yerevan, met with a delegation headed by Iraqi Defense Minister Juma Anaad Sadoun. 

The two, according to a statement released by Ayvazyan’s office, stressed the importance of deepening military-security dialogue between Armenia and Iraq, and said that close cooperation will have a positive impact on ensuring regional stability and peace.

The ministers also touched upon a wide range of regional security issues.

In this regard, Ayvazyan noted Turkey's direct involvement in the war launched by Azerbaijan against Artsakh last year.
