"Hero of Artsakh" Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan Dies at 81

Hero of Artsakh, Major-General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan (nom-de guerre Komandos) has passed away in Yerevan at the age of 81.

Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan was a top commander during the 1990s Artsakh Liberation War and commanded the operation that liberated Shushi in May 1992.

Tadevosyan was born in Tbilisi, Soviet Georgia.

I can imagine he may have died of grief at witnessing the surrender of his hard-fought achievement. I hope hetq could add more information about Ter-Tadevosyan.
