Turkish Foreign Ministry Summons U.S. Ambassador Following Biden's Armenian Genocide Statement

Following U.S. President Joe Biden’s recognition of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, the Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned US Ambassador David Satterfield to express its displeasure.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry, in a statement, said that Biden’s remarks undermine relations between Washington and Ankara, and called on the US President to “correct this serious mistake.”

"Words cannot change or rewrite history," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu tweeted moments after Biden announced his decision.

"We reject and denounce in the strongest terms the statement of the president of the US regarding the events of 1915 made under the pressure of radical Armenian circles and anti-Turkey groups," the foreign ministry said in a separate statement.

Ankara claims the death of the Armenians was not the result of a purposeful government policy, but a consequence of the civil war in the Ottoman Empire, in which Turks also perished.

Citing security risks, the U.S. Embassy in Ankara announced it and U.S. Consulates in Turkey will be closed for routine American citizen and visa services on Monday, April 26 and Tuesday, April 27.

“Demonstrations or protests may occur following the April 24 White House statement remembering the lives of all those who died in the Ottoman-era Armenian genocide,” reads the embassy’s alert.

THE APRIL 24, 2021 PRESIDENTIAL STATEMENT With respect to the statement by the executive on the Armenian Genocide, I am very disappointed in its failure to help heal the United States by the harm caused from foreign powers meddling to divide Americans. The Commander-In-Chief has the prerogative to exclude Turkish noses and Tartar lips in the content of his speech in presenting honors to American Veterans of Armenian Heritage who served from the American Civil War to present: earning the Congressional Medal of Honor and other countless second highest awards in the process. Furthermore, the Commander-In-Cheif should have used descriptions as to the familial purposes of migrating to the United States like "escaping state sponsored terrorism," "persecutions", "sexual slavery," "forced conversions," avoiding "slave markets," "escaping unequal protections of the laws," "escaping tyranny" "escaping crimes against humanity," escaping "pogroms," escaping the "Armenian Holocaust" which was later coined by Raphael Limpkin as the "Armenian Genocide" and as further causes for their highest loyalty and valor in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. Moreover, in the United States, the constitution mandates that there be a separation of governmental powers between the executive, legislative and judicial branches and especially from foreign powers in meddling in America's internal affairs under Article 2, Emoluments Clause of the United States constitution. Thus, under what authority do Aliyev's nose or Erdogan's lips have to disparage the content of the executive's speech that has significant National Security strengths and defenses? Who are they to do so? Congress has the power to declare Economic War, Armed War, and Psychological War that the executive must take care and faithfully execute on. Indeed, the Turkish narrative is that the cause of the Armenian Genocide was due to disloyalty to the Turkish Tyrant Trio. Moreover, whether or not the executive utters the word genocide, it is inconsequential to Armenian claims for property damage, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, Treble Damages and unlimited attorneys fees against Turkey and Azerbaijan under 18 USC 2333, 28 USC 1605(a) (Bank Markazi v. Peterson) and Estoppel by way of the Istanbul Trials of 1919-1920. Those who interfere with the ORDERS of THE PEOPLE pursuant to the Tenth Amendment will also face severe criminal and civil liabilities as well for their overreach of the People's Reserved Powers.
