Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has written to Council of Europe Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić and OSCE Secretary General Helga Maria Schmid about the plight of Armenia POWs still detained by Azerbaijan.

 "Despite repeated calls from the international community for an immediate end to the war, Azerbaijan's military-political leadership has been deliberately targeting civilians and infrastructure en masse, in gross violation of human rights and international humanitarian law,” Sarkisan writes.

The Armenian president calls on the international community to focus its attention on the issue and to pressure Baku to release all Armenian detainees.
