Armenian Parliament Dissolved

Given that the Armenian National Assembly did not elect Nikol Pashinyan, for the second time, as prime minister today, the parliament was dissolved by force of law.

The current parliament will continue to operate until a new one is formed based on early elections to be held on June 20.

The first election round for prime minister took place at a special session on May 3, where the only candidate, Pashinyan, was not elected.
