Pashinyan, Kazakh President, Discuss Border Stand-Off

Acting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, by telephone today, discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

Pashinyan, according to a statement released by his office, said Azerbaijan's encroachment on the sovereign territory of Armenia is unacceptable and called on CSTO member states to take steps to resolve the issue.

Kazakhstan, along with Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan are CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) members.
