The Armenian Ministry of Defense reported that Azerbaijan troops opened fire on a Gegharkunik Kut village resident today when he approached their position to collect animals grazing in the area.

Armenian troops immediately approached the scene of the incident, triggering another round of Azerbaijani gunfire.

After Armenian retaliatory actions, the gunfire ceased and most of the animals were returned.

No injuries were reported.
