National Conservative Movement Launches Campaign at Tomb of Arshakuni Kings
The 5165 National Conservative Movement of Armenia kicked off its parliamentary campaign in the Aragatzotn village of Aghdzk, the site where several Arshakuni (Arsacid) Dynasty kings are buried.
The National Conservative Movement (NCM) describes itself as “a network of unified Armenians that adhere to Armenian Christianity, Armenian Nationalism and Armenian Conservatism.”
The NCM stated that the site was chosen to show that the statehood and sovereignty of Armenia have deep roots that cannot be torn from Armenian soil.
The “5165” signifies the height, in meters, of Mt. Ararat.
