Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan met today in Yerevan and discussed the domestic situation in the country.

Sarkissian, according to a statement released by his office, emphasized the role of Prosperous Armenia in the political life of Armenia and hoped that not being represented in the new parliament will not affect the party's political activity.

The BHK won 3.96% of the vote in the June 20 snap parliamentary election, failing to reach the 5% threshold to enter the new legislature.
