Artsakh’s Committee on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons reports that the bodies of 3,164 Armenian servicemen have been found and recovered since September 27, 2020, the day the Azerbaijani military launched hostilities against Artsakh.

The Committee, chaired by Minister of Internal Affairs Karen Sargsyan, convened its first meeting today in Stepanakert.

Since November 10, 2020, forensic medical examinations have identified the remains of 2,711 people.

Sargsyan said there are sixty confirmed Armenians being held in Azerbaijan.
