
Nikol Pashinyan Selects New Chief of Staff
Acting Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Arayik Harutyunyan to replace Arsen Torosyan as his Chief of Staff.
Torosyan, a former Minister of Health, got the job of Chief of Staff, in January 2021. Harutyunyan, a former Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, had been serving as Chief Adviser to the Prime Minister.
A government press release gave no reason for Torosyan’s dismissal or Harutyunyan’s appointment.
