Jivan Gasparyan Dies at 92

World renowned duduk player and composer Jivan Gasparyan has died at the age of 92.  

“I write about my great loss with great pain. May God keep your soul in the bright sky," writes the artist’s grandson Jivan Gasparyan Jr in a Facebook post.

Jivan Gasparyan was born in Solak, a village in Armenia's Kotayk Province, on October 12, 1928.
