Firefight Along Armenian-Azerbaijani Border: One Armenian Soldier Killed

Azerbaijani sniper fire today killed one Armenian serviceman along the Yeraskh section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense reports that Armenian troops responded to the Azerbaijani gunfire, inflicting an unspecified number of losses to the Azerbaijani side.

The ministry reports that on the night of August 16, Armenian troops repulsed and attempted Azerbaijani positional advance near Lake Sev last night.
