
U.S. Allocates Additional $192,000 for Armenia's Sanahin Monastery
The U.S. will allocate an additional $192,000 to reinforce a section of the Sanahin Monastery in Armenia’s northern Lori Province.
U.S, Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy announced the news during a recent tour of the country’s Lori and Tavush Provinces.
The U.S., in 2019, allocated $100,000 for the restoration and preservation of individual monuments (St. Hakob Church, Grigor Tuteordi Khachkar, St. Harutyun Church) at Sanahin.
