Azerbaijani troops opened fire on Armenian military positions along the border in the country’s Ararat Province this morning, particularly in the Yeraskh section, killing one Armenian soldier, this according to the Armenian Defense Ministry.

The ministry, in a statement, condemned the Azerbaijani action and warned of reprisals.

“The entire responsibility for the escalation of the situation falls on the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan," the statement reads.
