Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan leads a delegation that departed for Vienna today to attend the 5th World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments and the First Global Parliamentary Summit on Counterterrorism.  

Simonyan will deliver a speech at the First Global Parliamentary Summit on Combating Terrorism to be held on September 9, presenting the study of the rights and needs of the victims of terrorism and referring to the assistance to be provided by deputies in the issue of reintegration.

The 5th World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments is organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the United Nations, and the Austrian Parliament.

The first-round meeting of the 5th World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments was held online in 2020.
