Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan today awarded Military Cooperation medals to several diaspora Armenians who donated lightweight SUVs to the ministry.

A ministry statement doesn’t name the benefactors or the number of donated SUVs.

Karapetyan said that while the Armenian government is doing its best to equip the Armenian Armed Forces with necessary vehicles, such largesse to support the defense of the homeland are welcome.
